ABOUT US
Govt. Sr. Sec School Chakung affiliated to CBSE is one of the oldest schools in Sikkim. It was established in the year 1930 by Lt. Phag Tshering Kazi, Venerable S.K Jinorasa with a vision to impart education to the children of local villagers. Today, the school which was started with a handful of students and a teacher in a one roomed school, has transformed into a multi roomed buildings with a large number of students who are being taught by academically and professionally highly qualified teachers in smart classes.
At GSSS Chakung every effort is made to provide quality and holistic education to students in a learner friendly environment with an aim to give quality human resources to the society.
